The Swedish research center classIC is charting the course in the field of semiconductor system design. By focusing on energy efficiency and high-performance architectures, classIC is fostering a center of excellence recognized worldwide. The center’s aim is to boost Sweden’s expertise in semiconductor-enabled system design. Committed to enhancing Sweden’s capabilities and linking it with the EU Chips Act program, classIC provides an ecosystem for companies venturing into semiconductor system design. Dr. Joachim Rodrigues is a director of the SSF-financed research center classIC, a joint-venture hub for chip design between Chalmers and Lund University. He co-founded Xenergic, a company which specializes in ultra-low-power SRAM IP. His research is primarily on hardware-software optimization for RISC-V based machine learning on low-power Edge devices.
The presentation is held in English.
