There will be stricter requirements for companies regarding their sustainability reporting. This means that companies must provide comprehensive and detailed information about their environmental impact, social factors, and corporate governance. Companies that do not meet these requirements may face economic sanctions. At the same time, the new requirements can have a positive impact by promoting increased transparency and sustainability, which are crucial in the green transition. Especially within the electronics sector, where companies play a significant role, this directive will directly and indirectly affect both, as it will also influence other companies in the value chain and meet the demands of investors and lenders.
